A nice drive connecting Yalwal Road to the bitumen "new" Burrier Road which runs beside the Shoalhaven river. The track has some steep sections and I did use low range - though it probably wasn't necesary. I think an AWD would have no problems in dry conditions. Some fantastic views and a well marked 1km side trail that takes you to a 500m walk to an OUSTANDING lookout. There would be no problem taking a camper trailer through on this trail.

52224 | Good track. The lookout off Saals Trail is worth the detour (great spot for lunch!). There's a steep-ish section of track that's had some concrete laid over it about 700m north of the gate near the Yalwal end of the track. | Ford Courier | Nov 28, 2014 |
