We did this track in the middle of winter the day after a night of heavy rain. Lots of mud to slip in but not enough to stop us from going anywhere. The second half of the track had some nice hill climbs and the view was great from the lookout out over Wilpena Pound.
Photograhers - start the day early as the sunrise onto the Chase Ranges is breathtaking. Lots of wildlife around too.
