THE TRACK ON THE MAP IS NOT BEARDMORES TRACK!! TO GET TO BEARDMORES TRACK YOU NEED TO GO TO THE CANOE LANCH SITE AT THE BASE OF THE DAM!
this track can be hard to find but is worth looking for! after the river crossing that can be deep you climb about 400m in 2km low range is a must for this one. the track is narrow at times and there is a rocky bench that good clearance is needed,you get a good view of the Thomson dam at times form this track. its only a short one but link it in with another one and make a day of it!
