This track was taken from 4WD Days Out of Perth 4th Ed. and the track file features the summer track. It is requested that the final part of the track, signposted as the summer track, not be used in winter and that the shorter winter track be used in winter instead.

The track starts at the car park for Sullivan Rock where you can go hiking up to the summit. The next driving section of the track then continues from another turn off a few kms down Albany Highway. The start of the track here had quite a lot of rubbish including a broken bottle which was disappointing.

Though only moderately difficult, this track has a bit of everything - red dirt, some rocks, sand, mud, reasonably steep ascents, and fallen trees (one of which on this occasion there was no existing alternative track around so I made a brief diversion through the bush). The flora also changes quite a lot through the track and one portion plays home to quite a few roos. There are also a few scratches along the way that will mark up the paintwork on wider bodied vehicles.

The track ends at Christmas Tree well where the trees have orange blossoms in December and January.
