Hollands Track
About the Track
Track Description
The Holland Track is the longest cart road ever made in one stretch in Western Australia. It is a unique route that was created by pioneers in 1893 to enable prospectors arriving at the port of Albany to shorten their trip to the Goldfields by more than a fortnight

48270 Still fun. Not as wet as last year but there were still some big ruts filled with water. Nissan Xtrail Jun 2, 2014
48270 It was very wet and very fun. The track was only opened the day before we went. Some chicken tracks weren't so chicken. Nissan Xtrail Jun 2, 2013
4859 The northern section which is maintained By Coolgardie Shire is kept in very good condition. As soon as you cross into the adjacent Shire, the road is more rutted and has more debris on the road. We were told trees often fall across the road and sure enough, a beautiful Salmon Gum blocked our way but we knew it would be cleared by the Shire so we just ducked around it without too much damage to the track edge.
