48446 Track was very boggy around the half way mark with tour buses getting bogged constantly. Saw a couple of dead 4wd's and helped a couple escape the sand. Due to no rain in 5-6 months the tracks were chewed out and very powdery. We had no problems but I learned to 4X4 on Fraser as a kid... Tyre pressures were the biggest problem most people had. 5521 Easy track, though a couple of deep holes here and there. Soft sand sections now and then, however with momentum and reduced tyre pressure - not a problem. Take a shovel to dig out bogged back packers. Mitsubishi Pajero Oct 11, 2009
3046 Track was in good condition following all the wet weather, very smooth and was able to drive in third for much of the route Nissan Patrol Jun 1, 2009
925 Lake McKenzie is one of the coolest places I've ever swum at! Really clear, fresh water surrounded by sugar white sands. A must do on Fraser. Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Oct 16, 2008
