LM Sutton South Track
About the Track
Track Description

Marked the start of this track on Burns Road as there is some interesting driving between the start point and LM Sutton South Track.   The track is called South Lady Manner Sutton Road on Google Earth, but LM Sutton South Track on the DSE sign post at the start.

The track has water crossings, many deep ruts where you will need to pick your line carefully, sharp rocks, steps and some seriously steep ascents and descents.

We tried this in the dry, I would suggest that unless you are a really serious 4WDriver with spikes as tyres, then this may not be possible.   We were in 4 low for a lot of the track.

I have marked this as difficult for the length of the track that we were able to complete.  This is shown on the uploaded track file.    We got to a point where the hill facing us was not even worth considering.   Ran into some other 4Wdrivers while there who said that the paper maps they had suggested it was possible downhill from the other direction only.

Could almost be classed as extremely difficult.

Rudi Update:
Did try the sutton Track went up a multi-step 70 degree grade hill oonly to be stoped by a massive fallen tree on the last step, wouldn\'t try it in the wet.
