Macdonald Valley and Yengo National Park
Track Description
Easy but full day trip starting from Wisemans Ferry, over the ferry towards St Albans along Settlers Road. Heaps of easy river crossing that get slightly more difficult towards the end. You head north from St Albans along the river and then back track. an 8am start at Wisemans Ferry got us to the pub at St Albans by 11:30 for lunch after crossing the Macdonald River heaps of times. Plenty of convict relics and aboriginal rock carvings on the afternoon session.

| 40449 | Brilliant little track!!! Dry as a bone this time around and with a bit of speed flew right over the sandy sections. Got to the end were there was a private property. | 40449 | We got to the first river crossing and stopped and had a picnic. The lovely locals told us not to cross because of no help around. We had a great day out though. Would have loved to have crossed but lucky we didn't. Some sections were deep and some soft sand was eveident. Water level little but higher than usual. If your not sure if you won't to cross or not DONT. Because you don't won't to get bogged in the river. Great trip. And great day out though.
