NT - Davenport Ranges NP & Policemans Waterhole via Sandover Hwy

Track Description

The Sandover Hwy comes off the Plenty Hwy. The Sandover Hwy is a well formed Dirt Road and there is a bit of Bitumen. Turn off onto the Binns Track which eventually leads u into Davenport Ranges via Hatches Creek Abandon Mine and or the leftover mining gear. From there u can T/O onto the Frew River 4WD Track which advises no trailers.... The track is not that bad and if u took your time it would be possible, but it is remote and deserves caution. This track will eventually lead u to Policemans Waterhole where u can camp. In dry conditions the track is easy and can be dusty in places. This is remote, so u need to have the usual gear in case of breakdown, etc
