Track Description
Track goes up to another old slate mine. It is interesting to get out and explore on foot. I found some interesting geology where you can see quartz that has been forced up between vertical layers of slate, forcing the slate apart and looking like a big quartz hand, where the fingers are quartz.
The condition of the track in was poor last time I did it as it has been washed out in floods. Hence the difficult rating. However, I have been on it other times when I would only rate it moderate.
