About the Track
Track Description

This track is accessed through Ballandeen along Sundown Road. This section of track is very very rough and is slow going. Camper trailers are discouraged from being taken into the park however I saw plenty of good serious off road campers in there. There are a few good rocky steep rutted hills but there are chicken tracks around most of these. Allow a full day from the Brisbane area and be prepared for a late arrival home. If your into wild life there is an abundance of wild deer and goats so bring your camera and zoom lens.

56308 Track appears to have been graded not that long ago looking at the amount of rubble on the sides and relatively smooth in the middle. Like every one says its slow due to the lose rock surface and step inclines/declines. We'll worth the drive. Isuzu Mu Apr 15, 2015

6693 the main track in to the campgrounds is fairly easy - but keep a lookout for the really good stuff that splits off to the sides of the main track then rejoins ( these are more obvious on the way out of the park ) Also rats castle is a great technical 4wd loop Nissan Patrol Apr 9, 2012
