                                There's been a bit of rain in the last week so there was fair bit of mud.  I managed to navigate down a few fairly steep bits but had to go back up the easy way as I didn't have the grip.  There are some seriously stupid tracks in this area for high clearance, high powered vehicles, but I was happy just to be able to get in then turn around and get back out. I went in from and back out the Hogg St end.

                                Track closed from Bailey end, but open from Hermitage Road.  Short track, but enjoyable with some easy and moderate side tracks.  All good fun being so close to town.

                                Tracks look to be in good condition - there's a few chicken tracks to get around the place as well as some pretty rutted, hard climbs.  I was in there by myself, so didn't go too nuts, but there are some big wombat holes on steep slopes that will test the unlocked vehicles.  Gate on the Baillie Henderson end is still shut as of 26/04/2014.

                                was not too bad, i did have a box trailer on behind and by me self but i did have a go at one of the mud holes twice,
also there is a fairly big flat area up the hill a bit,(i think you could see the gates from there) if you go over to the back corner there used to be a knarly little track up onto some grass that runs behind a large block of units, if you follow the track along  until the far end you can get out onto Hogg Street

                                Drive this track often as it's right near town an changes slightly with wear and whether. You can make it as easy as you like or tackle some of the steeper slopes.
The track actually leads out to Hermitage Road to the north, so if the gate on the south end is closed, access is easily attained at the other end (still called Tor St).
