Watagans Wollembi and Yellow Rock

A great day trip starting at Morriset and finishing at Yellow Rock. The trip was designed as a family friendly trip to give those less experienced a chance to get out,see some sights, and get the truck dirty in low range.

The trip starts at Morriset where we headed up into the Watagans via Cut Rock Rd and on to the Pines. There we turned onto Old Mill Rd and on to Watagan Creek Rd and stop at Wollembi Pub for lunch and a cold one. From there we turn onto Wollombi Rd and a left onto Cedar Creek Rd where we followed the tracks to Yellow Rock. 

It's an enjoyable drive with some fantastic views. You will require low range at a few points along the trip and it is highly recommended you travel with a second 4x4 to assist in navigating a couple of sections and possible recovery. We did this trip with 15 cars and had no issues but the conditions were very dry.
