Abercrombie River National Park
About the Track
Track Description

4x4 only tracks through the Abercrombie River National Park. Some excellent steep acents and decents on these tracks. Most do a round trip so you can explore the national park. Some trails more extreme then others but definately the place to go if you want to test your 4wd out.... some excellent camping spots... saw some great wildlife, kangaroo\'s, wild boar!

1082 Went there and camped 4 days at Silent Creek camp area. We explored the whole park in the time we were there, and yes it is a great place to do some Low Range driving, but with saying that we did not find any of it hard. A good set of tyres with the right pressures. I run Maxxis Bighorns and dropped them to 20 psi and never once lost traction. As for the wildlife, we saw wallabies, emus, wild goats, brushtail possums to name a few. It was a great trip with great company and we will definitely be heading back there in the future. Also we only saw one other group the whole time we were there, mind you it's winter. Mitsubishi Delica Jul 4, 2013

26511 some okay 4wd driving, the beach and Silent Creek were not that spectacular we stayed at the licking hole and that was very nice. We did not explore all the tracks but what we drove was very easy and not much challenge. LandRover Discovery Mar 10, 2013
17302 Nice steep terrain and open forest. The river would be nicer after some rain ;-) The Beach camp ground is not as spectacular as it's made out to be - there's actually many unoffical places to camp - so my advice is explore on your first day, before picking a spot. Toyota Prado Oct 7, 2012
