About the Track

Track Description

A good track that goes between Andamooka and Farina and will take you through Stuart Creek Opal Diggings and across the top of Lake Torrens. I travelled this after some rain and there was water across the road but no real depth of concern. Travel in the cooler months as it is quite arid. A great alternate route to get to the Gammon Ranges or as we did, up the Strzelecki Track. Remote travel so water and fuel requirements as well as being self sufficent.

                                we did this track back in 2009 on the June long weekend, it has a good mixture of conditions, sand, water, mud, rocks and rough tracks.
