Black Creek track
About the Track
Track Description

Turn onto Nerimbera School Rd from Rockhampton-Emu Park Rd - follow this until it becomes Arnold Drive. This is a good road through some lovely country-side, at the point marked on the 4x4earth map you turn right at a National Parks sign and then left straight past the fence, this follows Arnold Drive for a little while and then there is a nice decent and then accent, which can be quite fun in the wet. Not long further down the track it terminates at a spot where you can test out your hardcore skills - there are around three severe decents down to the creek below. Which I would rate as Difficult to Severe depending on your truck and skills.

Arnolds Road proper crosses several creeks, some of which can get quite high on the wheels when the weather is wet.

It looks like this area could be National Park - although I have come across a couple of drongos dumping rubbish. Don't muck it up too much - stick to the tracks and don't make your own.

48811 A few nice tracks and some steep rocky hill climbs and step ups. The tracks leading to them are very tight and overgrown so if you value your paint job it's probably not a good place for you. Toyota Landcruiser Jun 20, 2014
