I did this track a few years ago with a friend and we did not have a gps. The track log was manually marked from our log maps and memory

Difficulty Difficult to Very Difficult
Distance 5 to 6 kms
This comes off cabbage tree road just before you cross the Telegherry River. (Cabbage tree road continues across the river but shortly after there is a locked gate). This is another long very steep climb. There is no point to turn around and about half way up there was a tree across the track but you can get around it. Good Climb.

| 14625 | Did this track from south to north, was originally going up Cabbage Tree Rd but due to a VERY large tree across the track it is now impassable for 4wd's, This track is steep, very steep, wasn't too difficult just have to have the nerves to go down it, would be an idea to have some decent clearance and flex, a 2" lifted surf on 32" tyres was just a touch low as I was scraping my diff and bash plate down some sections, To top it off the northern end of Cabbage Tree Rd is now through some farmers properties and has some locked gates, so be prepared to go back up the hill | Toyota Hilux Surf | Feb 16, 2013 |
