Darke Peak range track

Track Description

head to darke peak on balumbah-kinnard rd. take first left before town and drive on dirt road for approx 5 klm and head towards lookout on right. large water tank. drive around water tank and follow track along ridge. this is the beginning of the track. you will come to a t junction, head left to continue or right to head down towards golf course. track gets progressively more difficult. it follows the ridge line and offers some spectacular views of surrounding countryside. a bit of clearance would be of benefit, also a good head for heights!. track eventually makes its way down the hill and ends up in a quarry. head back to the darke peak pub for a beer!
