Downies Spur Track
About the Track
Track Description
Very wet and muddy at this time of year with lots of bog holes that will flood your rig if not careful. Lots of fun if in a group but definately need muddies (prefferable 33 inch) dual range and some lift would help.

56468 would help if you had a lift thers a deep rut half way down the track on one side could be hard Mitsubishi Pajero Feb 19, 2015
49606 No real problems with a set of 32s was dry enough though. If recent rain I would be leaning towards 33s and ensuring you have a winch handy. Nissan Navara Dec 28, 2014
45494 Easy in the dry... hell in the wet Toyota Hilux Mar 23, 2014
46910 Did this track a couple of weeks back without any problems, was great fun. The hill climb that takes you to the downies rd intersection was great. Would be tougher after some rain however. Toyota Landcruiser Mar 6, 2014
39493 Lots of bogholes but most can be avoided. A few deep ruts that must be driven through. Nissan Patrol Jan 5, 2014
34795 Several deep bogholes however all can be bypassed. Toyota Landcruiser Apr 27, 2013
20062 I find this track easy enough as you can bypass the bog holes. Little slippery just after the big bog hole if you are heading north. I tried one of the bog holes before I got a snorkel and hydrolocked my engine tho which was an expensive mistake. Toyota 4Runner Jul 7, 2012

3339 Large mudhole off the Spraggs road Entrance, where good tyres and a bullbar would be adviced to limit damage to vehicle. Sevearl downed trees that you need to go around good track in all, joins up with Luke Creek Track Number 1 for a great run in all, or you can take a left down downies road and head back Toyota Landcruiser Dec 27, 2009
