About the Track

Track Description

East West Divide Track starts at McEvoys Road in East Walhalla.

The track has some very steep ascents and descents with some river crossings along the way. The deepest crossing we did was approximately 70cm deep. This was during summer and could be deeper during the wet months.

The track took us over two hours to complete, and once finished, there is still at least an hour or so to go to get back onto any sort of road. Ensure you have plenty of fuel.

About 10 Klm in from McEvoys Track you will come to a place called \' Freds Pool \'. This is a great place for a swim or a break in 4WD ing.

All in all, a great track in fantastic country.

                                Great track, everything Davidman said, love the tracks in this area, straight up and straight down.  Freds pool a beatiful spot, can be a tricky crossing, deep hole to the left and a mate had a scary moment as one wheel went in!!
