About the Track

Track Description

The first section of this track is on a reasonable surface and would be classed as easy in both wet and dry.

Once the track turns off Hi Tree Extension Track and runs down to the Latrobe River, the track becomes steep in places with some large ruts and several rocks, some sharp and not able to be moved and others about the size of a basket ball that we had to move out of the way.

This part of the track has a clay base and was slippery even though it had not rained for a few days. This section was medium, but would be difficult in the wet.
