A nice trip from Big River Road to Eildon Jamieson Road via Mt Terrible.
After some wet weather the tracks were a little bit slippery in places and there was a fair amount of Low Range driving involved. The tracks are in relatively good condition and even with the overnight rainfall and snow they were still passable without too much effort. Once the ground softens up some more, parts of Hope Track and the Uphill climb to Mt Terrible would become difficult.
With the recent firebreaks graded through the area, you need to keep away from the edges of the tracks. The ground is soft and after a little bit of rain the clay soil was like clag, if you ended up in it you would probably get stuck.
Sadly the Mt Terrible hut is in a state of disrepair and has been vandalised.

| 645 | Good fun track with some steep options on the Mt Terrible Track. There had been snow a couple of days before we went up there and the tracks were a little slippery in places but nothing too difficult. Great views from the hut which is not as bad as I thought.
