Track Description
Follow the Howqua River Rd into Steiners Rd and Mitchells Track, an easy drive to the Slate Mine where you will have some great views of the surrounding hills. From here the track starts to head downhill to Mitchells Flat it is quite steep and can be greasy after rain. Once you reach the bottom take some time look around the flat there are some good campsites along the creek and the old homestead site is sign posted but nothing remains. The track continues on to Wrens Flat and the Mount Sunday Rd will take you the Jamieson / Licola Rd.
