Track Description
Mallet track has a shallow water crossing then leads uphill from Jarusalum creek road, this 500 or so meter section is tricky after rain but quite fun.
The track has been widened due to the cutting of a fire break, this has cut the track up but makes for a bit of fun going up the hill in the mud, plenty of "whoop\'de doo\'s" at the start and a high ground clearance will be needed. The track joins up with the Eilden Jameson road and the "Steep Track" joins up half way along, (Steep track is subject to seasonal closures )
Mallet Track is a good track for the beginner who wants a bit more diffuculty, in the wet lower tyre pressures are advisable but dry will be no problems.
