36231 Went up for a look on Saturday 1st December 2012. I entered Sugarloaf Ridge Road from Mount Sugarloaf Road and followed it all the way back to Wakefield and onto Wakefield Road. There are some works still going on but for the installation of overhead power lines to a repeater site, looks like the road works might be complete. The first section of Sugarloaf Ridge Road is in great condition and no challenge at all. Once you take the first split in the track left things get a little more interesting. For more of a challenge come from Wakefield and head to Sugarloaf. Toyota Hilux Dec 1, 2012
19239 Decided to have a look at Mt sugar loaf , went down sugar loaf range rd only to find that about 1km before the end of the track it was closed where work was being done . Tho where the track is closed another track forks off from the left and leads into plenty of other tracks . In the end disappointed but greatly satisfied because it gave me an excuse to go exploring many of the other side tracks around Toyota Hilux Jun 11, 2012

22271 On the way home from Stockton Beach we took Mount Sugarloaf Road, Sugarloaf Range Road, then Blowfly road then back onto the Freeway. Sharp rocks. Blowfly road is wet clay in places after rain, effectively 1 way. Daihatsu Feroza Sep 11, 2011
