About the Track

Track Description

Road that follows the Leigh Creek railway line and loops up over the ranges and back on to Bitumen just North of Hawker.

Rough and bumpy in places, creeks occasionally get washed out and if after rains expect to slide and find boggy patches.

easy to moderate track depending on weather conditions, follows the edge of the western side of the flinders.

Be aware that you will be driving through Station country so expect to see lots of sheep and cattle crossing roads.

at the Highest point of the tracks as you cross over the ranges you will get a great View of Lake Torrens to the west.
