Paddy Joys crosses Wheelers creek. The bridge over the creek is not to be used as the opposite side is missing about 2ft of the bank and has large nails sticking out of the timber support. the creek crossing is straight forward with no hidden traps. it is in and then out to the left and up the hill. The climb is initially steep and a good surface. It is a nice drive and takes you to the top of the Wild Boar Range track which is signposted as a road but suffers from a lack of use and has become a little overgrown in parts but still very passable.

17302 | A small and isolated spot, a narrow valley. The creek crossing is easy. Definitely stay off the bridge. | Toyota Prado | May 12, 2012 |
