Track Description
Track starts off relatively easy, becomes narrow in places as the vegetation gets denser. To get there you will have a long but very drivable climb from Walhalla Road up Mormon Town Track, enter from the east side of the Thompson River immediately after the bridge. Don\'t miss the view looking back on the River as you climb, 2.75km you will see the start of Telecom Track to the left, this end of the track is gated and closed when the track is unsafe. The last section is a steep decent right into the back of Walhalla, open the gate at the bottom and drive into the Long Mine car park. Discover Aus tracked well for the first 300mtrs of the track then tracked 100mtrs SE. The mapped track appeared to be on the opposite side of a gully to where the track actually is. Great drive if you are looking for an alternative way into Walhalla.
