Bloodwood
About the Track
Track Description

There are many off road tracks and fire trails running off Bloodwood Road. The toughest and longest track is one at the end of Bloodwood Road on the left (shown on the map). This track can be taken by average clearance sedans and up for the first 2km. There\'s a quarry playground about 1km down the track with lots of rocks and mud.

Further down the track you\'ll come across steep rocky declines/inclines as you head down the valley. From this point on you\'ll need a medium to high clearance 4x4. From time to time there may be fallen tree branches, although they are generally cleared often (by fellow 4x4ers and RFS). If you do continue past this point I suggest at least travelling in pairs and a UHF as phone reception is pretty bad along the way.

Enjoy

50812 Meh pretty tame, mostly do-able in a 2wd, a couple of short diversions off to the side (access roads to the power lines) are slightly more interesting. All fire trails securely gated and locked. Still a nice short drive close to Sydney. LandRover Discovery Jun 14, 2015
43097 Took my stock Patrol out here for my first 4wd experience. Was a great place to learn what my car was capable of. Was able to give it a good work out knowing that civilization was a stone throw away. Nissan Patrol Sep 14, 2013
40852 Nice place for first timers, nice place for getting out with the kids, Mitsubishi Pajero Jun 18, 2013
29374 Most trails (i'm guessing the good ones) are gated off :( will keep you amused for about an hour tops. A few rocks to flex up on is about as exciting as it gets Toyota Hilux Jun 17, 2012

10975 did every track we could find in a few hours. Most just go to the power lines. couple of good spots but not that great and only little short tracks with dead ends. There's a 4x4 playground and a few spots with some big mud puddles. Looking for something more difficult! Jeep Wrangler Jun 9, 2010

9978 checked this out and found all gates are locked so no entry into the national park. there are a few tracks that lead off the main part but mostly dead ends. there is a small quarry with a few rock climbs that anyone with a small lift will find challenging. good place for a beginner to test there vehicles. Nissan Patrol May 2, 2010

10811 Great day out for three beginners getting to know our vehicles, our fourth more experienced Defender touting 'chaperone' found it a bit tame though. The bowl is great fun, but beginner stuff. A lot of the tracks don't really go anywhere but a great venue for stock 4x4s LandRover Range Rover May 2, 2010
