56217 | Easy run upto keppel hut in the dry but would be slippery in wet, mcfaden's track starts just beyond the path to the hut. The start of mcfaden's is steep and rocky up to the ridge of the hill and would be very technical in the wet, the rest of the track is moderately easy with high clearance although is over grown in places with a couple of boggy spots. | LandRover Defender | Jan 31, 2015 |

45827 | Entered from Marysville, then left via McFadyen track to Rubicon. Lots of track closures in the area because of downed trees. Lady Talbot Drive was closed. McFadyen track is badly overgrown in the southern section. With a few fallen trees that need to be driven over (or cleared if I had the chainsaw with me). It was mostly dry, which made it a fairly easy day. In the wet it would have been a very different day. If you went to the hut from Marysville and left the same way any 2WD with reasonable clearance would be able to do it in the dry. | LandRover Defender | Nov 4, 2014 |
