Mount Coree & Mcintyres hut
Track Description
This is the track for my day trip to Mt Coree and McIntyre hut.
Mt Coree is easy to get to in any vehicle with a bit of ground clearance with the drive very easy just with a couple of boggy areas that can be navigated around.
I was fortunate as the gate to the fire tower was open (11/10/12). From the gate up it was 1st gear high range 2wd in my Pajero just taking it easy. If it was wet it would be 4wd low range as it will be pretty slippery with alot of loose rocks and clay.
McIntyre hut is also easy to get to. There are a few steep ascents/descents and was a bit steep in 2wd high range but would turn quite difficult when wet.
