Track Description
Porters link tk jumps off from East West divide tk and heads West. After an initial couple ks of forest drive the track drops down to Glenmaggie creek west branch in about as steep a track as the area has to offer, not to be taken lightly in the wet. This is the main reason for rating difficult. There are two shallow creek crossings at the bottom where Porters link meets Porters Creek track, and this is a great place to stop and enjoy the bush setting with a cuppa. Another section of Porters creek tk heads South West and is steep but fairly uneventful. The route shown here continues North West on Porters ck track, up some steep switchbacks and loose stoney track then pleasant bush drive before reaching McEvoys (Springs) tk.
